Speaking, Listening & Pronunciation (30 hrs)

This course is designed to assist you use more effectively in English speaking environments and to identify common problem areas. You will become skilled professionals when interacting with foreign patients. We will help you to develop your speaking and listening skills for general and specific purposes.

Oral Presentation for Doctors (30 hrs)

In this course learners develop the listening and speaking skills necessary for doctors. You will practice various listening skills to enhance their comprehension and work on developing your note-taking skills. In addition, you will make numerous oral presentations of various types typical of academic settings, such as explaining a graph/chart, defining a term, and describing a process. You also practice leading a group discussion, co-presenting with a colleagues, stating and supporting their opinion, and making impromptu presentations. A communication journal, readings, guest lecturers, and videos supplement listening and discussion activities.

Intensive Writing for Doctors (30 hrs)

The ability to write clearly and professionally is one the most important skills in the modern medical technology. We are specialized in writing effective and professional communications, such as medical reports, instructions, proposals, e-mail and documentation, for various situations.

Grammar Review for Doctors (30 hrs)

This course presents a concise review of the essentials of English grammar for doctors. It will help you brush up your English grammar skills. "Grammar Review for Doctors" reviews the use of verb tenses, verb phrases, articles and prepositions. Grammatical skills will be practiced in short contextual writings about current events. You will read news articles, practice the grammar used in the news article, write commentaries on the article, and then, learn to edit your own work for errors. You will be expected to have basic knowledge of tense usage when beginning this class and more refined knowledge upon its completion.
